HOMOSEXUALITY is the act of engaging in sexual relations with one’s own sex, that is, a man having sexual relations with his fellow man and a woman having sexual relations with her fellow woman. This is a sin before God. 1 Corinthians 6:9 -10 records “Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.” Moreover, at creation, God formed and presented a woman to Adam to meet his sexual needs, not another man (Genesis 2:22). So, homosexuality is very abnormal. More so, in the book of Genesis chapter 19, the city of Sodom and Gomorrah where homosexuality was heavily practiced, was utterly destroyed by God. However, we’re now in the era of grace, God is patient with all men, giving each one the privilege to repent and turn from evil and do good, but once a man dies in the sin of homosexuality, he/she heads straight to Hell.
How to overcome homosexuality:
You have to be BORN AGAIN. Once you’re genuinely born again through absolute faith in Jesus and the redemptive work He did on the cross of Calvary to pay for your sins, you’ll automatically lose taste for homosexuality; it will detest you and you would no longer want to indulge in it. Why? Because you will come to the consciousness and sudden realization of the fact that it is a sin. Until you’re born again, you may not see the sinfulness of homosexuality. Moreover, an unclean spirit (a demon) is behind this immoral act (this is why some see it manifest in their lives from a tender age/ suddenly see themselves having interest in it because all men are born sinners and every sinner can be possessed by an unclean spirit). This unclean spirit however only leaves a man’s body when a new spirit takes over their body and indwells them, and the only Spirit demons dread is the HOLY SPIRIT received at the moment of salvation (being born again). Once the Holy Spirit comes in, the evil spirit of homosexuality leaves immediately and you’ll separate yourself straight away from whoever you’ve been indulging in the act with.
Grow in your Christian life by spending plenty time reading, studying and meditating on God’s Word morning and night. Pray daily and often. Fast and pray once/twice a day. In Bible study, begin with the book of Romans as a young Christian.
Pray and be led by God to a Bible-believing church where the raw truth of God’s Word is preached, taught and practiced. Attend church services and programs regularly, join a service unit (department) in church and serve faithfully, cheerfully and wholeheartedly.
Make new godly friends and hang out with them; precisely those who have been born again, fears God and are serving God truthfully. Avoid friends who are sexually immoral, that is, those engaging in homosexuality, fornication, watching of porn, masturbation, adultery etc
Be cognizant of the awful consequences of homosexuality: Contact of sexually transmitted diseases, entrance into demonic covenants, guilt, shame, fear, self-hatred, self condemnation, unfulfillment, sickness, murder, untimely demise, night mares, sex in the dream, fear of death, shattered destiny/unfulfilled destiny, failures and disappointment, stagnation, limitation, lack and want, lack of joy, rest and peace, lack of God’s presence and His blessings... and in the afterlife, eternal damnation in Hell fire if one dies an unrepentant homosexual. 1 Corinthians 6:9 -10 says “Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.” Ephesians 5:5 says “For you may be sure of this, that everyone who is sexually immoral or impure, or who is covetous (that is, an idolater), has no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.” And Galatians 5:19-21 says “The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity, and debauchery… and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.”

FINAL WORD: Consciously go through this Scripture to understand the actual cause of homosexuality: Romans 1:18-32 “But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who suppress the truth by their wickedness. They know the truth about God because he has made it obvious to them. For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.
Yes, they knew God, but they wouldn’t worship him as God or even give him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. As a result, their minds became dark and confused. Claiming to be wise, they instead became utter fools. And instead of worshiping the glorious, ever-living God, they worshiped idols made to look like mere people and birds and animals and reptiles. So God abandoned them to do whatever shameful things their hearts desired. As a result, they did vile and degrading things with each other’s bodies. They traded the truth about God for a lie. So they worshiped and served the things God created instead of the Creator himself, who is worthy of eternal praise! Amen. That is why God abandoned them to their shameful desires. Even the women turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged in sex with each other. And the men, instead of having normal sexual relations with women, burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men, and as a result of this sin, they suffered within themselves the penalty they deserved.
Since they thought it foolish to acknowledge God, he abandoned them to their foolish thinking and let them do things that should never be done. Their lives became full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, quarreling, deception, malicious behavior, and gossip. They are backstabbers, haters of God, insolent, proud, and boastful. They invent new ways of sinning, and they disobey their parents. They refuse to understand, break their promises, are heartless, and have no mercy. They know God’s justice requires that those who do these things deserve to die, yet they do them anyway. Worse yet, they encourage others to do them, too.”
Psalm 1:1-3 says “Happy are those who reject the advice of evil people, who do not follow the example of sinners or join those who have no use for God. Instead, they find joy in obeying the Law of the Lord, and they study it day and night. They are like trees that grow beside a stream, that bear fruit at the right time, and whose leaves do not dry up. They succeed in everything they do."
