Many individuals today struggle with self-acceptance for various reasons, a challenge that transcends age, affecting children, teenagers, and adults alike.

Some face limitations in their ability to communicate effectively in English, while others grapple with feelings of inadequacy—believing they are not intelligent, beautiful, or favored enough. Many feel rejected or unloved, longing for acceptance from those around them.

Others contend with physical challenges, whether it be stammering, health issues, skin conditions, or any deformity they wish to change. Additionally, some struggle with dissatisfaction regarding their body size, fear of rejection, or anxiety about failure. Public speaking can be a daunting task for many.

These limitations and fears often hinder individuals from pursuing their dreams, stepping into the public sphere, taking bold actions, and achieving their God-given purpose and destiny.

If you identify with any of these challenges, I have exciting news for you: IT DOESN'T MATTER. As long as you have God on your side, you are empowered. Remember, God created you and is fully aware of your fears and limitations. He has already made provisions for these challenges, which is why He entrusted you with a remarkable destiny to fulfill.

Never forget this: you are the IMAGE of God. This truth should foster a positive self-image and encourage you to think highly of yourself.

Being the IMAGE OF GOD means that, regardless of how you currently perceive yourself, you possess the capability to accomplish everything God has designed you to achieve. You can bring your visions and dreams to life—yes, you can! And you can do this with God's guidance.

This is why you cannot afford to do life without God. Being born again restores your relationship with Him, granting you access to His help 24/7, empowering you to be and do all that you were created for.

Let me leave you with this wonderful excerpt from one of Pastor KENNETH COPELAND writings that I found really powerful about SELF-IMAGE.

He said, "If you’ll believe God, even a poor self-image won’t keep you from success. Look in the book of Exodus and you’ll see a man who proved that. His name was Moses.

Moses didn’t have a very good self-image. He’d made a terrible mistake early in his career. It was a mistake that drove him into the wilderness and kept him there for 40 years herding someone else’s sheep.

He’d once dreamed of being a deliverer of God’s people, but no more. As far as he was concerned, he was finished…a failure…a flop!

But God didn’t think so. In fact, when God came to Moses in that wilderness, He didn’t ask for Moses’ credentials. He didn’t mention his shady history. He just told him to go see Pharaoh and tell him to let God’s people go.

Moses, however, was still wrestling with his poor self-image. “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh?” he stammered.

You know what God said in response? He just said, “Certainly, I will be with thee.”

You see, it didn’t matter who Moses was. What mattered was that the living God was with him. The same thing is true for you today. You don’t need a history of successes behind you to answer God’s call. You don’t need a string of spiritual credentials. All you need is the presence of the Lord.

Think about that when the devil tells you you’re a failure, when he says you’ll never be able to do what God has put in your heart to do. Put him in his place. Tell him it doesn’t matter who you are because the living God is with you.

Then dare to follow your dream!

This is powerful. Dare to follow your dream. Dare to do that thing the devil has been telling you you cannot do because of one limitation or perceived inadequacy. Dare to do it today and you'll see that the devil has been lying to you all along.

Shalom.
